Job summary

Capital Group is seeking a Results Manager in Southern California to lead North America’s core return and attribution operations. You will coach a high-performing team, ensure data integrity, and collaborate across divisions to drive operational excellence and scalable solutions.

You will influence the Global Results strategy, align with 2031 goals, and contribute to improved insights while managing risk and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, mathematics, economics or related quantitative field.
• CFA or CIPM preferred.
• At least five years in an analytical or quantitative business role.
• Familiarity with investment management, brokerage or global finance.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving; leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead North America’s core return and attribution operations with accurate data and controls.
• Coach and develop a high-performing team and drive operational excellence and transformation.
• Partner with Investment Operations, Client and Investment Groups, Global Risk, and others to resolve complex issues.
• Support the Global Results 2031 goals for system integration and data management.

You will coach and develop a high-performing team, drive operational excellence and transformation, and partner across Investment Operations, the Client and Investment Groups, Global Risk Management, Enterprise Data Office, Legal and other stakeholders to collaborate and resolve complex operational and technical issues.You will help shape Global Results’ strategic direction, supporting simplification, scalability, and new capabilities. In partnership with the Global Results Leadership team, you will advance the “Global Results 2031” goals of greater system integration, stronger data management and improved insights.“I am the person Capital Group is looking for.”You have deep knowledge of portfolio and fund accounting, performance measurement, risk, portfolio analytics, attribution data concepts, GIPS and industry best practices.You build strong relationships, collaborate generously and foster inclusion and trust.You develop high-performing teams that utilize emerging technology to optimize processes, manage data and mitigate risk.You have experience with complex or ambiguous statistical portfolio analysis.You are curious, diagnose root causes and develop high-quality solutions to complex operational problems.You proactively manage risks using metrics, written policies & procedures and other critical documentation.You plan, prioritize, delegate and coordinate projects to drive business outcomes and achieve results.You understand the investment management industry and stay current on relevant trends and regulatory changes.
