Job summary

OHM Concessions Group is seeking a Restaurant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations at the Kansas City location. You will lead staff, manage inventory and ordering of food and supplies, and drive guest satisfaction while optimizing profitability.

Responsibilities

• Manage shifts including scheduling and planning while upholding standards, product quality, and cleanliness.
• Monitor costs (food, beverage, supplies, labor) to maximize profitability.
• Ensure sanitary practices and compliance with policies and laws.
• Respond to guest complaints and convert dissatisfied guests into return visitors.

Position Summary

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of our restaurants, including the selection, development, and performance management of employees. In addition, the Manager oversees inventory and ordering of food and supplies, optimizes profits, and ensures that guests are satisfied with their dining experience. The Manager reports to the Airport Director of Operations.

Essential Functions

• Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant and make final decisions on matters of importance to guest service.
• Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor costs.
• Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas.
• Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances.
• Ensure consistent high quality food preparation and service.
• Ensure positive guest service in all areas.
• Respond to complaints, taking all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests.
• Manage shifts including daily decision making, scheduling, and planning while upholding standards, product quality, and cleanliness.
• Investigate and resolve complaints concerning food quality and service

Qualifications

• Knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel).
• Proficient in food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, company policies and procedures, personnel management, recordkeeping, and report preparation.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must agree to background and credit check.
