The candidate should have 5+ years in investment banking, restructuring advisory, or related fields, with Bloomberg and platforms like Reorg, Debtwire, and Capital IQ experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in finance, economics, accounting, business, data analytics or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, restructuring advisory, credit research, market intelligence or related fields.
• Experience with Bloomberg and restructuring/credit platforms such as Reorg, Debtwire, 9fin, PitchBook LCD, Capital IQ.
• Strong analytical and research skills with ability to extract actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills suitable for client-facing work.
• Strong attention to detail and project management skills.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently while collaborating with lawyers and business professionals.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain and update a live watchlist of stressed and distressed companies with opportunities in restructuring and bankruptcy contexts.
• Monitor public filings, earnings releases, debt trading, ratings actions, refinancing activity and liquidity developments.
• Track information on capital structure complexity, sponsor ownership, trading levels and recent liability-management activity.
• Identify and prioritize business development targets based on market conditions and relationships.
• Develop concise financial, strategic and legal talking points to support partner outreach and client conversations.
• Track internal and external outreach efforts related to watchlist targets and maintain momentum.
• Collaborate with marketing and market intelligence teams to strengthen client development capabilities.
• Identify cross-practice opportunities and connect with investment bankers.
