The Opportunity

We are currently working with a market-leading US law firm that is looking to add a Restructuring Associate to its New York office.

The team is seeking candidates with significant experience representing creditors or borrowers in connection with liability management transactions, alongside broader restructuring experience.

The Practice

The practice has a broad restructuring offering, with work spanning creditor representations, debtor representations and distressed acquisitions.

The firm's market-leading creditor-side practice focuses on high-profile, top-of-the-capital-structure representations, advising clients including:

• Hedge funds
• CLOs
• Private equity funds
• Other financial institutions

The team represents these clients in both Chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings, including sophisticated liability management transactions and complex capital structure situations.

On the debtor side, the team handles high-profile Chapter 11 cases, including cross-border matters, as well as significant out-of-court restructurings.

Associates will have the opportunity to gain exposure to:
