Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Restraint System Integration and Testing Engineer in Casa Grande, AZ. You will lead restraint sub-system integration, conduct hands-on testing, oversee build-quality, and manage test data and reports for both new development and model-year variants.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree and experience with airbags/interiors in automotive contexts, plus strong problem-solving and communication skills to liaise with design, purchasing, and management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of airbags/interiors design and testing; automotive OEM or Tier 1 experience.
• Ability to explain highly technical issues to non-technical audiences.
• Physical capacity to manipulate interior parts in and out of test fixtures.
• High level of ethics.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the Restraint Sub-system integration and their testing in the vehicle.
• Hands-on test builds, technician training, and build-quality oversight.
