Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity is seeking a Part-Time ReStore Retail Associate in Milwaukee. The role involves greeting donors, pricing and merchandising donations, assisting customers, and ringing up purchases at the cash register. Schedule is Tuesday–Saturday, part-time hourly non-exempt.

The team emphasizes a fast-paced, donor- and shopper-friendly environment with volunteers. Must be 18+, HS diploma or GED, strong communication and physical ability for lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong verbal communication skills to interact with customers.
• Able to stand or walk for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and take in donations at the Donation Center.
• Price the incoming donations.
• Place donations in the correct departments and merchandise them attractively.
• Assist customers with products they are interested in.
• Assist customers with ringing in their purchases at the cash register.
• Assist customers with carrying out their purchases.
• Work side by side with Volunteers in a team environment

Overview

ReStore Retail Associate - Milwaukee Habitat ReStore is a nationally recognized non-profit organization that sells new and gently used furniture, appliances, building supplies and more to raise funds for Milwaukee Habitat. We're looking to add a Part-Time Retail Associate to our great team. Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong verbal communication skills to allow for proper interaction with customers
