Job summary

Milwaukee Habitat ReStore is seeking a part-time Donation Attendant to join its team in Milwaukee. The role greets donors, processes donations, helps customers and works with volunteers to maintain a welcoming shopping environment.

The position is 20-29 hours per week, with a Tuesday–Saturday schedule and an hourly wage of $15.30. Benefits include a 401K match, a shopping discount program, and an employee referral bonus.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong verbal communication with customers.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.

Milwaukee Habitat ReStore is a nationally recognized non-profit organization that sells new as well as gently used furniture, appliances, building supplies and more to raise funds for Milwaukee Habitat. We’re looking to add a Part-Time Donation Attendant to our great team. If you enjoy working in a fast paced environment, and you are self-motivated, responsible, and committed to providing a great shopping, volunteer and donor experience then this job is for you!

Part-Time, Hourly / Non-Exempt, Tuesday – Saturday

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong verbal communication skills to allow for proper interaction with customers

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and take in donations at the Donation Center.
• Assist customers with carrying out their purchases.
• Work side by side with Volunteers in a team environment.
• Learn to sort, process and price incoming donations.
