Job summary

Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity in Wilmington, NC is seeking a part-time ReStore Donations Coordinator to streamline donation pickups and deliveries while delivering excellent donor service.

You will schedule pickups, coordinate with drivers, and use ThriftCart and NexTraq to optimize routes. This role emphasizes organization, communication, and mission-driven work with volunteers and donors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in retail or customer service is helpful but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Organized, self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience using Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the intake, processing, and scheduling of donation pickups and deliveries for Cape Fear Habitat ReStore locations
• Speak with donors to gather information, answer questions, and provide attentive customer service
• Build and maintain positive relationships with donors
• Exercise sound judgment when determining whether donated items can be accepted
• Record and maintain donor information using ThriftCart
• Use NexTraq GPS software to build efficient truck routes and help reduce transportation costs
• Communicate with drivers, supervisors, and other ReStore team members about donation schedules
• Guide and supervise volunteers who assist with donation scheduling
• Help ensure donors and buyers receive timely, professional, and efficient service

Help Turn Generous Donations Into Affordable Homes.

Are you organized, customer-focused, and comfortable coordinating multiple details throughout the day? Join Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity as a part-time ReStore Donations Coordinator and help connect community donations with our mission of building homes, communities, and hope.

As one of the first points of contact for many donors, you’ll provide friendly, professional service while scheduling donation pickups and deliveries throughout New Hanover and Pender counties.

Schedule:

20 hours per week, regularly scheduled Monday-Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Some evening or weekend availability may be needed with advance notice.

Position Type:

Part-time, non-exempt

Pay:

$19 / hour
