Pay Rate: $17.50/hour
Schedule: Full Time; flexible weekdays, weekends and certain holidays required
Habitat ReStores are nonprofit home improvement stores and donation centers that sell new and gently used furniture, appliances, home décor, building materials, and more at discounted prices. Proceeds help fund Habitat for Humanity of the Charlotte Region’s mission to build strength, stability, and self-reliance through affordable housing.
The Sales Associate is a frontline representative of the ReStore, responsible for delivering outstanding customer service and creating a positive shopping experience. This role involves assisting customers with product inquiries, maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, restocking merchandise, and supporting the overall efficiency of daily retail operations. The Sales Associate plays a vital role in promoting the ReStore’s mission by ensuring a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment for all shoppers.
This role is active and physical, involving frequent standing, lifting, and working in both retail and donation/warehouse spaces. It also includes regular interaction with a diverse customer base, donors, volunteers, and staff.
This position requires working indoors in a retail setting, outdoors in all types of weather, and in warehouse settings with or without climate control.
Average of 40 hours per week. Shifts may begin as early as 9:30AM and end as late as 7:30PM, as scheduled by supervisor.
