West Bay RI is seeking Direct Support Professionals for Specialized Supports in Rhode Island. The role focuses on implementing behavioral health plans and aiding individuals with I/DD in independence and community integration within supportive settings.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of rehabilitative or behavioral support experience, with a valid driver’s license. Weekend differential applies to pay rates. Full-time and part-time schedules are available.

Responsibilities

• Deliver restorative and rehabilitative services per individual care plans.

• Use crisis intervention skills to support individuals during challenging moments.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to improve daily routines and life skills, including nutrition, employment, social development, personal care, and medication administration.
• Maintain a safe, healthy environment that promotes growth and autonomy.
