West Bay RI is seeking Direct Support Professionals for Specialized Supports in Coventry, Johnston, and North Smithfield, RI. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.

Qualifications

• Understanding of intellectual/developmental disabilities and co-occurring emotional/mental health needs.
• Skilled in monitoring, documenting, and communicating progress clearly and professionally.
• A natural role model with a positive, caring demeanor and strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Deliver restorative and rehabilitative services based on individual care plans.
• Provide motivational, consistent, and respectful support to foster relationships.
• Use crisis intervention skills and offer intensive support during challenging moments.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to enhance daily routines and life skills (nutrition, employment/volunteer opportunities, social development, personal care, medication administration).
• Maintain a safe, healthy environment that promotes growth and autonomy.
