Job summary

Westbay RI Direct Support Professionals are sought to deliver restorative and rehabilitative services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in community-based settings. You will implement behavioral health care plans and help clients gain independence, life skills, and community integration.

This role requires a deep understanding of I/DD, strong documentation skills, and a caring, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of intellectual/developmental disabilities and co-occurring emotional/mental health needs.
• Excellent monitoring, documenting, and communication of progress.
• Positive, caring demeanor with strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Deliver restorative and rehabilitative services based on individual plans.
• Provide motivational, consistent, and respectful support.
• Use crisis intervention skills to manage challenging moments.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to improve daily routines and life skills.
• Maintain a safe, healthy environment that promotes growth.
