Job summary

Genesis is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Hurricane, WV, to deliver high-quality nursing care under Nursing leadership. You will assess patients, develop care plans, and collaborate with physicians and the care team to optimize outcomes.

This role emphasizes mentoring peers, maintaining documentation, and ensuring regulatory compliance within a long-term care setting. Ideal candidates hold ADN or BSN, a current RN license, BLS/CPR, and experience in geriatric or post-acute care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or BSN).
• Active RN license in the State.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Experience in long-term care, post-acute, rehab, or geriatric nursing preferred.
• English proficiency for clear documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver efficient, high-quality nursing care to achieve positive outcomes.
• Supervise and delegate to LPNs and CNAs per state acts.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for care plans.
• Mentor new nursing staff and support onboarding.
• Maintain accurate real-time documentation in PCC/EHR.
• Uphold HIPAA and infection control standards.
