Job summary

Genesis in Hurricane, WV is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) under the supervision of the Nurse Supervisor, Unit Manager, or Nurse Executive to deliver high-quality nursing care and improve patient outcomes in a long-term care setting.

The RN will lead care plans, supervise LPNs and CNAs, document accurately using PCC EHR, ensure HIPAA compliance, and participate in mentorship and onboarding while supporting team growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or BSN).
• Active RN license in the state.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Experience in long-term care, post-acute care, rehabilitative, or geriatric nursing preferred.
• English language proficiency for clear clinical documentation.
• Must fulfill health screenings per state guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver efficient, high-quality nursing care.
• Develop individualized care plans and conduct assessments.
• Supervise and delegate to LPNs and CNAs.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation in PCC EHR.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and patient safety.
