Qualifications

• Successful completion of a state approved certified nursing assistant program.
• Two years' experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant and knowledge of restorative nursing philosophy and procedures.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 12 hours of continuing education to maintain certification.
• English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver restorative nursing care under supervision to promote maximum functional potential.
• Oversee restorative programs for individual patients.
• Provide safe restorative care.
• Communicate with Nursing/ Rehab about goals and approaches for patient needs.
• Attend care plan conferences and contribute to restorative plan of care.
• Maintain restorative progress documentation.
• Assist with staff orientation and ongoing education on restorative practices.
• Instruct staff on splints, braces, and other assistive devices for proper use.
• Promote a culture of safety and patient-first service.
