Job summary

PCH Princeton Community Hospital in Princeton, WV, seeks a dedicated Nursing Assistant to support physical therapy services and restorative care under supervision. You will assist with mobility programs, document patient progress, and help with admissions and daily rounds while delivering excellent patient-centered service.

Required: high school diploma, CNA certification, BLS within 30 days; preferred: RN/LPN program enrollment and prior acute care or rehab experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant Certification issued by state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient assignments with good judgement and skills.
• Reports observations and concerns to the Physical Therapist.
• Assists with restorative/maintenance mobility programs per therapists.
• Documents in patient charts per policy and procedure.
• Demonstrates competency and completes skills daily as required.
• Provides high level customer service per hospital standards.
• Assists with patient admission tasks as directed by the RN.
