Responsibilities

• Applies research and proven techniques to prevent or treat conditions that limit the body's ability to move and function by implementing the plan of care established by a physical therapist.
• Determines/prioritizes direct/indirect patient care activities in collaboration with nursing.
• Instructs patient and caregiver in treatment programs and documents demonstrations.
• Documents all treatments in EMR per policy.
• Submits charges for services rendered as per billing policy.
• Oversees students and volunteers as directed.
