Job summary
Plumas District Hospital is seeking a Restorative Nursing Assistant to support residents needing restorative care at the 1065 Bucks Lake Road location in Quincy, CA. The role includes direct restorative activities, delegated therapies, and mobility support to help residents reach their highest possible functioning level.
The position is per diem and non-benefited, with 12-hour shifts and opportunities for shift differentials and holiday pay.
Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to function independently with indirect supervision.
- Training in gait belt use, safe transfers, and body mechanics.
- Creative problem solver.
- Administer restorative activities specific to resident needs.
- Assists residents in progressive mobility and restorative dining, including ROM and device use.
- Perform transfers, bed mobility, positioning, and range of motion exercises.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct restorative care and delegated therapy tasks.
- Administer Restorative Dining Program.
- Support residents in mobility, positioning, and safe device use.
- Monitor and document progress per physician orders.
- Collaborate with care team to maintain highest possible functioning level.
