Job summary

Burlingtonconvalescent is hiring a Primary Restorative Nursing Assistant (RNA) to join our Nursing team. The RNA works with the Therapy Department and under the Charge Nurse to implement restorative approaches that help residents maximize mobility and independence.

Responsibilities include assisting with ROM and transfer exercises, documenting ADLs, monitoring devices, and supporting CNAs. The role requires an RNA certificate, CNA experience, and current First Aid/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and CNA program completion required.
• One year CNA experience in SNF and an RNA certificate is preferred.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster shots, plus First Aid/CPR.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with ROM and mobility activities per physician orders to improve or maintain mobility.
• Documents activities of daily living for each resident per facility policy.
• Monitors restorative devices for proper utilization and safety.
• Assists with turning and positioning of heavy-care residents.
• Provides daily/weekly progress notes for residents in the restorative program.
• Coaches CNAs in ROM, ADL, safety device use, and progress auditing.
