Masonic Villages of Pennsylvania – Sewickley Campus is hiring a Restorative Nursing Assistant for part-time daytime shifts. You will carry out resident care activities and restorative nursing services, ensuring safety, timeliness and quality of care in alignment with each resident's plan of care.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Current Pennsylvania Nursing Assistant certification required.
• Minimum of one year experience as a Rehab Aide or Nursing Assistant.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Good written, oral, organizational, and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides care of residents in a safe, caring, timely and appropriate manner and performs restorative programs per plan of care. Carries out assigned duties within the scope of practice and Masonic Village policies and procedures.
• Teaches restorative skills to residents and staff; Serves as a resource to Certified Nursing Assistants and licensed staff for restorative programs.
• Observes and reports resident response to the program; documents progress and time spent in progress notes.
• Participates in quality assurance projects and interdisciplinary care plan meetings as needed.
• Supports the nursing staff as needed.
• Transports residents to/from sessions at the request of the treating therapist or assistant.

As a Restorative Nursing Assistant, you will carry out our Mission of Love by performing various resident care activities and related non-professional nursing services while ensuring the care of our residents is provided in a safe, caring, timely, and appropriate manner by maintaining the appropriate competencies and skills through continued education that encompasses all of these areas.

Our Restorative Nursing Assistant is responsible for the following:

• Provides care of our residents in a safe, caring, timely and appropriate manner to assist each resident in attaining their highest potential. Performs restorative nursing programs by following the resident's plan of care. Carries out assigned duties within the scope of practice and Masonic Village policies and procedures.
• Teaches restorative skills to residents and staff. Serves as a resource to Certified Nursing Assistants for restorative skills. Serves as a resource to licensed staff for restorative program development.
• Observes and reports to licensed staff the resident's response to the program. Accurately documents resident performance, progress, and time spent in performing the program through written progress notes.
• Participates in quality assurance projects. Participates in interdisciplinary care plan meetings as needed.
• Supports the nursing staff as needed.
• Transport residents to/from sessions appropriately at the request of the treating therapist or assistant.

What You Need as a Restorative Nursing Assistant:
