Job summary

Bluebird-Wellness-and-Rehabilitation in Missouri is seeking a Restorative Nursing Assistant to deliver rehabilitative services ordered by licensed medical staff. You will assist residents in achieving the highest practicable ADL function through retraining techniques and restorative care plans.

The role includes helping residents with meals, mobility, and personal care while documenting progress and maintaining safety.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in the state of practice.
• Successful completion of state approved Restorative Nurse Assistant Training Program; Name must appear on State Registry as Nurse Aide in good standing.
• Prior experience as Restorative Nursing Assistant in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification (All SNFs; ALFs as required by state).

Responsibilities

• Provides restorative nursing tasks such as ambulation, range of motion, positioning, self-feeding to promote ADL independence.
• Assists with feeding, hydration, and personal care while encouraging resident participation.
• Observes and documents resident conditions; reports changes to nursing staff.
• Keeps therapy area and equipment clean and functional; assists with transfers and mobility.
• Participates in meal service and escorts residents as needed.
• Maintains resident safety and follows care plans and policies.
• Charts progress and communicates effectively with nursing staff.
