Job summary

Aviata Health Group is seeking a Restorative Nursing Aide to join our patient- and family-focused team at The Harbor. You will provide direct restorative nursing care to residents, promoting maximum function and minimizing decline, while supporting restorative dining, ROM, transfers, and ADLs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; state certification/registration required.
• Minimum 12 hours of continuing education to maintain certification.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar elder care setting preferred.
• Knowledge of restorative nursing principles and practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents receiving restorative nursing to promote maximum function and minimize decline.
• Provide direct restorative care: restorative dining, splints, ADLs, bowel/bladder management, ROM, ambulation and transfers.
• Encourage residents to participate in assigned programs with verbal cues, one-on-one support, and safety reminders.
• Maintain documentation for residents in Restorative Program and notify management of changes.
• Create and implement ideas to improve systems and processes to achieve better results.
