Job summary

Aviata Health Group in West Palm Beach is seeking a compassionate Restorative Nursing Aide (CNA) to support residents in restorative programs, promote independence, and prevent functional decline.

You will provide direct care, assist with ADLs and mobility, document progress, and participate in ongoing education while joining a team dedicated to person-centered care.

Shift is 11a-7p for 16 hours weekly; we welcome diverse backgrounds and are an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CNA certification/registration in state of practice.
• Must maintain continuing education credits (12 hours) to maintain certification.
• Minimum one year of experience preferred in a setting serving similar resident population.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct restorative care including ADLs, mobility, and range of motion.
• Encourage participation in restorative programs with cues and safety reminders.
• Maintain documentation for each resident in the Restorative Program and report changes to management.
• Support innovative improvements to care processes to achieve better outcomes.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Restorative Nursing Aide to join our team! As a Restorative Nursing Aide, you will provide direct care to residents receiving restorative nursing to promote their ability to attain and maintain their maximum function potential and minimize functional decline.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct restorative care, including restorative dining, splints, ADL's, bowel and bladder management, passive and active range of motion, ambulation, and transfers.
• Encourage residents to participate in their assigned programs by providing verbal cueing, one-on-one, and safety precautions.
• Maintain documentation on each resident participating in the Restorative Program and notify management of any resident changes.
• Provide innovative, responsible healthcare through the creation and implementation of new ideas and concepts that continually improve systems and processes to achieve superior results.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or GED equivalent and be certified/registered in the state of practice.
• Must maintain a minimum of 12 hours of continuing education to maintain certification.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience preferred in a setting serving the same age/type of resident population served by this facility.
• Knowledge and skills in basic Restorative Nursing principles and practices preferred.
• You must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.
