Job summary

HMG Healthcare in Texas seeks a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide restorative nursing care per residents' plans. You will document care on the restorative flow sheet and coordinate with the restorative nurse coordinator and therapy staff as needed.

The role requires maintaining dignified, resident-focused care and promptly reporting changes in condition to the charge nurse. Prior restorative aide experience and completion of related training are preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing in Texas.
• Completion of a restorative nurse aide training program preferred.
• Six months of experience in long-term care as a restorative aide preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides residents with routine restorative nursing care as per assessment and care plan.
• Documents care on Rehabilitation/Restorative flow sheet.
• Notifies restorative nurse coordinator or therapy department of problems or referrals.
• Reports significant change in resident condition or motivation to the charge nurse.
