Job summary

St. Catherine's of Washington Court House in Washington Court House, OH is seeking an RN Restorative Nurse to develop, implement, and monitor restorative nursing programs within the facility.

You will collaborate with licensed therapists, ensure proper documentation, perform functional assessments, and educate staff on restorative techniques and electronic documentation systems to improve resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in the State of Ohio.
• CPR certification recommended.

Responsibilities

• Implements restorative programs using the nursing process and ensures proper delivery and documentation with all nursing staff.
• Work closely with licensed therapists to ensure recommendations are followed through when discharged from formal therapy programs.
• Perform functional restorative assessments per HCF policy.
• Ensure that all restorative nursing measures are reflected in the plan of care.
• Participate in care plan conferences and report on restorative nursing programs.
• Utilize Electronic Documentation system and reports for restorative nursing programs.
• Educate new employees and provide continuing education on restorative nursing techniques and documentation.
• Periodically round on all shifts to monitor restorative programs.
• Communicate with Director of Nursing on progress of the restorative program.
• Participate in weekly Case Mix, QA process, and Nurse on-call program.
