Job summary

Saunders Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Penn Wynne, Pennsylvania seeks a compassionate RN Wound Care Nurse/Restorative Nurse to provide wound care and restorative services, promoting comfort, independence, and well‑being for residents.

You will assess wounds, develop care plans with the interdisciplinary team, conduct restorative therapy, document progress, and contribute to quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Strong knowledge of wound care principles and practices.
• Wound care certification preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Capacity to adapt to changing situations and prioritize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive wound care services to residents, including wound assessment, treatment, and education
• Develop and implement individualized wound care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Conduct restorative therapy sessions to promote residents' independence and mobility
• Monitor and document residents' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient outcomes
