Job summary

ALIYA of Palos Park seeks a compassionate Restorative Nurse to join our team. You will maximize residents' functional abilities, promote independence, and minimize illness effects through individualized restorative programs in a long-term care setting.

The role requires an Illinois-licensed RN or LPN with at least one year of restorative care experience and training in rehabilitative practices. Strong empathy and teamwork are essential, with opportunities for professional growth and dedicated

Qualifications

Must be a RN or LPN licensed in Illinois.
Minimum 1 year of experience in restorative care.
Training in rehabilitative/restorative therapy practices.
Experience in long-term care preferred.
Compassionate and empathetic personality.

Responsibilities

Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct restorative care services.
Meet with admin, medical, nursing, therapy staff to plan restorative care.
Develop and maintain restorative care standards.
Assist QA Committee in action plans to correct deficiencies.
Direct restorative care services and perform necessary administrative duties.
Interpret restorative care policies to staff, residents and families.
Assist in recruitment and selection of restorative care personnel.
Provide direct nursing care as needed and as department requires.
Ensure restorative care notes reflect treatment and residents’ responses.
Develop and participate in staff education and orientation programs.
