Diversicare Healthcare Services, LLC is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to support residents in a post-acute care setting. The role involves restorative exercises, ambulation training, ADL support, and daily progress documentation.

Emphasis on compassionate care and resident advocacy within a team-based environment. Responsibilities include range of motion work, assisting with mobility, and coordinating with nursing staff to ensure safe, quality care.

Qualifications

• Nursing Assistant Certification from the state, where required.
• Good communication skills with the ability to read and write the English language.
• Ability to document appropriately and perform technical procedures.
• Genuine caring for and interest in resident.
• A strong belief in the Restorative Nursing Philosophy.

Responsabilités

• Performs range of motion exercises (passive/active).
• General strengthening exercises for residents.
• Ambulation and transfer training.
• ADL support and restorative activities.
• Restorative feeding and daily documentation on treatment progress.
• Notify nursing staff of problems or changes in condition.

Responsibilities

• Performs programs on all identified residents. To include but not limited to:
• Range of motion (passive/active)
• General strengthening exercises
• Ambulation and transfer training
• ADL’s
• Nursing whirlpools as assigned
• Placement of restorative devices and equipment
• Positioning
• Restorative feeding program
• Document daily on treatment grid and weekly on progress notes.
• Notifies restorative nurse coordinator or appropriate therapy department of problems, referrals or reassessments needed.
• Reports to the Director of Nursing and charts significant change in resident’s condition or motivational level.
• Reinforces team management of B/B program and works with nurse aides on B/B procedures.
• Attends meetings and in-services as required.
• Serves as a resident advocate at all times. Motivates others.
