Job summary

Signature HealthCARE is seeking a Restorative Nurse to lead the restorative nursing program at Rockford Rehab & Wellness Center. You will maximize residents' abilities and promote independence under supervision of a restorative nurse.

Licensed RN/LPN with 1–3 years' related experience is required; supervisory experience preferred. You may assist with admissions as needed and work a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional weekend rotations.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse or Registered Nurse with required state licensure.
• 1–3 years related experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Recognize residents’ needs such as ROM exercises and ambulation limitations.

Responsibilities

• Perform restorative nursing procedures to maximize residents’ abilities and independence.
• Assist with potential Admissions as needed at the building.
• Maintain an 8-hour day shift Monday–Friday with occasional weekend rotation.

How you Will make a Difference

• Perform restorative nursing procedures that maximize the residents’ existing abilities, emphasize independence instead of dependence, and minimize the negative effects of disability with an attitude of realistic optimism under the supervision of a restorative nurse.
• Assist as needed with potential Admissions as needed at the building.
• Monday – Friday 8 hour day shift with occasional weekend rotation.

What you Need to make a Difference

• Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse or Registered Nurse with required state licensure.
• One (1) to three (3) years related experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Recognize resident’s needs such as ROM exercises, ambulation limitations, etc.
