Job summary

Signature HealthCARE at Heritage Hall Rehab & Wellness Center is seeking a Restorative Nurse to lead the restorative nursing program. This role focuses on maximizing residents' abilities, promoting independence and quality of life within a supportive rehab team.

Ideal candidates are licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses or Registered Nurses with current state licensure and 1–3 years of related experience; supervisory experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse or Registered Nurse with state licensure.
• 1–3 years of related experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Recognize residents' needs such as ROM exercises and ambulation limitations.

• Perform restorative nursing procedures that maximize residents’ abilities and promote independence.
• Assist with potential admissions at the building as needed.
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to the restorative program under supervision.

How you Will make a Difference

• Perform restorative nursing procedures that maximize the residents’ existing abilities, emphasize independence instead of dependence, and minimize the negative effects of disability with an attitude of realistic optimism under the supervision of a restorative nurse.
• Assist as needed with potential Admissions as needed at the building.
• Monday - Friday 8 hour day shift with occasional weekend rotation.

What you Need to make a Difference

• Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse or Registered Nurse with required state licensure.
• One (1) to three (3) years related experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Recognize resident’s needs such as ROM exercises, ambulation limitations, etc.
