Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 60 semester hours required.
• Minimum age 21.
• CPI certification required or obtainable within district timeframe.
• Commitment to restorative, growth‑oriented discipline.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students in In-School Suspension to maintain a calm, structured environment.
• Apply trauma‑informed de‑escalation strategies when crisis occurs.
• Facilitate restorative conversations and reflection activities.
• Support student coping and self‑regulation for reintegration.
• Monitor coursework completion and coordinate with teachers for assignments.
• Communicate with administrators, social workers, counselors, and teachers regarding plans.
• Maintain daily logs of attendance, behavior, and progress per district procedures.
• Report suspected abuse or neglect per state law and district protocols.
