Job summary

Girard College seeks a Coordinator of Culture to support the High School in fostering a positive and inclusive school environment. The role focuses on addressing behaviors and social-emotional concerns to protect instructional time and academic achievement.

Under the High School Principal, the coordinator will promote core values—Integrity, Respect, Compassion, Responsibility, and Courage—with fidelity and vibrancy, and collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to sustain a thriving

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent field experience; 10+ years in K-12 culture and compliance preferred.
• Experience in restorative justice models and SEL instruction.
• Excellent communication with students, staff and families; ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Commitment to core values: Integrity, Respect, Compassion, Responsibility and Courage.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in building staff capacity for enforcing school culture.
• Support staff in maintaining high behavior standards and restorative conversations after incidents.
• Coordinate with administrators to resolve referrals and communicate with students and families.
• Lead initiatives that promote a positive, inclusive school culture and student engagement.
• Develop programs and events aligning with college readiness and core values.
