Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a current CNA status in accordance with statutory requirements.
• Must have completed additional instruction/training in restorative care procedures and have documentation evidence in the employment file.

Responsibilities

• Provide restorative nursing care to strengthen muscles, promote independence, and prevent functional decline.
• Perform Active and Passive Range of Motion safely.
• Ambulate residents using appropriate equipment.
• Assist residents with splints or prostheses.
• Encourage residents to perform tasks independently where possible.
• Ensure proper body alignment and use of positioning devices.
• Report adverse conditions to the DON.
• Monitor and document progress of ADLs per policies.
