Job summary

EverTrue in Missouri is seeking a CNA to support restorative services for residents under the supervision of the nursing team. The role focuses on mobility support, exercise participation, transfers, and gait training to help residents regain function.

Ideal candidates hold CNA certification with restorative techniques training and have at least two years of long-term care experience, plus strong verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

• CNA certification and additional training in restorative techniques.
• Two years as a CNA in a long-term care facility.
• Good verbal and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Participates in developing the restorative plan with the licensed nurse and other team members.
• Works with residents to achieve restorative goals including exercises, transfers, bed mobility, and gait training.
• Provides documentation and feedback on resident response to restorative activities and obstacles.
• Reports to licensed nurse about when an activity was not done and why or if a modification was made.
• Assists in monitoring and maintaining equipment and supplies.
• Works with other CNAs to help provide maintenance care.
• Reports changes observed in residents' function or self-care abilities.
• Provides personal care and assistance with ADLs as needed.
