Job summary

TSVH in Cleveland, Tennessee is seeking a Restorative CNA for a new skilled nursing facility serving veterans. You will provide restorative nursing care and help develop individualized plans of care, documenting treatments and progress as required.

You will engage in restorative programs such as ROM, ambulation, active and passive exercise, and ADL/feeding programs, with opportunities for family or resident teaching and supporting fellow staff.

Qualifications

• Must have current Nurse Aide Certification.
• Experience in restorative care preferred.
• Long term care experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide restorative nursing care to residents.
• Develop individualized plan of care for residents.
• Document treatments, refusals, progress notes as required.
• Be familiar with restorative programs (ROM, ambulation, exercises).
• Involvement in family or resident teaching.
• Assist other staff as needed.

Essential Functions of the Position

Other duties may be assigned

• Provide restorative nursing care to residents.
• Participate in the development of an individualized plan of care for assigned residents.
• Documents each treatment provided, refusal of treatment, reason(s) treatment could not be provided and progress notes as required.
• Be familiar with restorative programs such as range of motion, ambulation, active and passive exercise, use of assisted devises, ADL programs, and feeding programs.
• Involvement in family or resident teaching
• Assists other staff as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidate must have a current Nurse Aide Certification
• Previous Restorative care experience preferred
• Must have previous long term care experience.
