State of Indiana in West Lafayette seeks a Nursing Attendant (Restorative Aide) to support residents at the Indiana Veterans' Home. You will perform ROM and follow therapy plans to maintain physical abilities and assist with daily living tasks.

A high school diploma or equivalent is acceptable; CNA/Nurse Aide certification must be obtained within 120 days. This seasonal, 180-day role offers no benefits and requires reliable, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• CNA certification and First Aid are required or must be obtained within 120 days.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to changing resident needs.
• Understand nursing forms and HIPAA regulations.

Responsabilités

• Assist with daily living tasks such as dressing, eating, bathing, grooming.
• Escort residents to therapies, dining, and treatment areas.
• Check and record vital signs to inform care decisions.
• Maintain a safe environment and assist with housekeeping duties.
• Support creation and execution of care plans with the health team.
• Observe and report resident conditions and changes.
