Job summary

Indiana Fitness Works is seeking a Restorative Nurse Aide at Brooke Knoll Village in Avon, IN. The role involves performing restorative nursing duties, documenting resident responses, and supporting rehabilitation plans under supervision.

Qualified candidates have CNA training, a high school diploma or equivalent, and experience in restorative nursing. Health certification and Covid-19 vaccination (or approved exemption) are required.

Qualifications

• Must have completed Certified Nursing Assistant course
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prefer some experience in restorative nursing and familiarity with rehabilitation principles
• Must possess health certificate/examination as required by State agencies
• Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 or have approved exemption

Responsibilities

• Perform range of motion exercises for upper and lower extremities per plan of care
• Assist residents with ambulation using walker or cane per plan of care
• Assist with transfers of designated residents per plan of care
• Assist with feeding and dining room organization
• Encourage mild geriatric exercises individually or in group settings
• Follow therapists' recommendations to preserve/enhance functional ability
• Assist with applying splints as ordered by physician
• Maintain accurate documentation of resident programs, dates, staff, duration, and responses
• Perform other duties as assigned by Rehab Manager
