Journey is seeking a compassionate Restorative Aide to work closely with nursing and therapy staff to implement restorative programs aimed at promoting resident independence and improving quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be a supportive team member and contribute to teamwork.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Ability to deal tactfully with residents, family, staff and others.
• Patience and willingness to deal with difficult residents.

Responsabilités

• Receives restorative nursing assignments and performs duties as assigned.
• Performs restorative nursing services per care plans (ROM, transfers, dressing, feeding).
• Works with individuals or small groups on activities.
• Coordinates dining room services at mealtimes, setup, delivery, feeding and documentation.
• Delivers nutritional supplements and tracks intake.
• Assists with weighing residents and reports weight changes.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Supports teamwork and independent decision-making when needed.
• Interacts tactfully with residents, family, visitors and staff.
