Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Ohio CNA certification required (if applicable to facility).
• CPR certification preferred or ability to obtain.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to safely assist residents with mobility and transfers.

• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out individualized restorative nursing programs designed to help residents maintain or improve mobility.
• Motivate and support residents as they work toward their restorative goals with encouragement.
• Help residents safely practice walking, transfers, positioning, ROM, and wheelchair mobility.
• Observe residents during restorative sessions and report changes to the nursing and therapy teams.
• Work closely with nurses, therapists, CNAs, physicians, and other team members to promote independence.
