Lifepoint Rehabilitation is seeking a Restorative Aide for Kindred Hospital Louisville in Louisville, KY. This role supports restorative nursing interventions under supervision to promote safe functioning and wellbeing for patients transitioning from rehabilitation services.

Education requires a high school diploma or GED, with six months' rehab aide experience preferred and BLS certification. Join a team focused on quality care and continuous education in a long-term acute care setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months experience as a Rehab Tech or Restorative Nursing Aide in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform restorative nursing interventions to support patients in reaching maximum functional potential.
• Report patient responses and condition changes to the supervising nurse or therapist.
• Participate in quality management and safety committee activities.
• Assist in collecting quality review data and survey preparation.
• Support cost-effective care delivery and interdisciplinary group activities.
• Engage in continuing education and professional development.
• Demonstrate professional behavior in interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Adhere to the standards of professional organizations and internal policies.
• Contribute to client relations and marketing efforts.
• Maintain clinical competency and participate in team meetings.
• Support administrative and clinical efficiency initiatives.
