Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Restorative Aide for Kindred Hospital - Chicago North. The role supports therapists by carrying out restorative programs and assisting residents with activities, promoting safety and quality of care in a busy hospital rehab setting.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, 6–12 months rehab experience, CPR certification, and willingness to participate in on-the-job training. Hourly rate $18–$20; full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English.

Responsibilities

• Carry out individualized restorative programs designed by the Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Pathologist.
• Document observations of residents' condition accurately and report findings timely to the care team.
• Assist residents with ambulation and transfer as needed.
• Maintain hygiene and sanitation in therapy areas, including equipment and spaces.
