Job summary

The Hilltop at Blue River is seeking a Nursing Assistant specialized in restorative care in a skilled nursing facility. You will work under the supervision of the Director of Nursing Services to perform restorative measures and assist residents with daily activities and mobility.

Responsibilities include ROM exercises, transfers, positioning, ADLs, and documenting resident responses. English proficiency and current Restorative Aide credentials are required.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Must demonstrate ability to take supervision.
• Maintain good health and stamina for daily tasks.
• Evidence of stable work history in healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform restorative nursing measures as ordered by physician.
• Assist with ROM exercises (passive and active).
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, positioning and bed mobility.
• Support activities of daily living: dressing, grooming, self-feeding.
• Document nursing observations using appropriate terminology.
• Communicate changes to Charge Nurse and care team.
• Participate in resident Plan of Care conferences.
• Adhere to in-service training and facility policies.
