The role includes assisting with mobility, meals, bathing, grooming, and daily activities, while documenting progress and coordinating with nursing and physical therapy teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with progressive range of motion exercises and mobility tasks.
• Assist with progressive eating during meals.
• Assist with progressive bathing and dressing.
• Assist and teach residents in grooming.
• Take and record vital signs according to schedule.
• Document residents’ progress and report to charge nurses and supervisor.
• Work closely with physical therapy department.
• Document restorative tasks in EMR.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and residents’ rights.

This position provides direct care to nursing home residents, in accordance with restorative nursing policies and procedures. May help with resident care while performing restorative nursing tasks.**Responsibilities:*** Assist residents doing progressive range of motion exercises and progressive mobility, to include but not be limited to bed activities, sitting, transferring, standing, stair climbing, and walking.* Assist residents in progressive eating, during breakfast and lunch.* Assists residents in progressive bathing and dressing.* Assists and teaches residents in progressive grooming.* Takes and records vital signs of residents according to facility schedule and policies, and during restorative activities.* Documents and/or reports information regarding the residents’ progress and medical condition to charge nurses and supervisor.
