Job summary

Nexus Health is seeking a Restorative Aide to support residents in regaining mobility and functional abilities under the supervision of restorative nurses.

The role requires an Illinois-certified nursing assistant, knowledge of restorative processes, and the ability to follow written and oral directions while communicating well with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Current and valid nursing assistant certification in Illinois.
• Knowledge of restorative processes.
• No abuse records.
• Previous experience in a SNF setting.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral directions.
• Ability to communicate and work well with residents and staff members.

Responsibilities

• Assist restorative nurses with restorative processes.
• Help residents regain their mobility.

• As a restorative aide, you will assist restorative nurses with restorative processes.
• You will help residents regain their mobility.
• You will help residents regain functional abilities.
• You will assist with care planning for your residents in accordance with the restorative nurses.
