Job summary

ServiceMaster Restoration Services seeks an in-field Restoration Technician to assess damage and lead restoration tasks on homes and businesses affected by water, fire, mold, and other incidents. You will work with clients and team members to deliver high-quality results and exceptional service.

Travel to active jobsites is frequent; the role involves manual labor, safety protocols, and use of specialized equipment. A valid driver's license and OSHA certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
• Organizational skills and strong problem-solving abilities are essential.
• Analytical thinking is required to assess damage and plan restoration steps.
• Preferred OSHA 10/30/40 certification is a plus.
• Experience with restoration or related fields is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and evaluate property damage to determine the extent of the restoration work required.
• Perform tasks related to water extraction, fire and smoke damage repair, mold remediation, and structural drying.
• Use specialized equipment and tools to carry out restoration processes efficiently and safely.
• Document the restoration process, including damage assessments, work performed, and reporting for insurance purposes.
• Communicate with clients to explain the restoration process and address questions or concerns.
• Adhere to safety protocols, industry regulations, and company policies to ensure high standards of quality and safety.
• Participate in the on-call rotation.
• Other duties as assigned or apparent.
