Job summary

Restoration Management Company is seeking a Technician II to work under the Lead Technician, applying industry tools and following project protocols at our Grapevine location. The role centers on proper use of equipment, adherence to safety standards, and providing timely support across restoration tasks.

Ideal candidates will have at least one year in construction, strong safety awareness, and the ability to communicate clearly with technicians and supervisors.

Qualifications

• One year minimum work experience in a construction or similar work environment.
• General understanding of basic safety protocols.
• Physically fit to perform duties described above.
• Possess dexterity, good balance, good eye/hand coordination.
• Good grasp of English language (written and verbal) is a plus.
• Ability to communicate clearly and accurately to Lead Technician or Superintendent when necessary.
• Approved Respirator physical and fit testing.
• Good understanding on use of hand tools, power tools and mild chemicals.
• Ability to work with various building materials.
• Ability to read and understand basic written instructions.
• Use of good judgement works well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Follow direction from Lead Technician regarding assigned work.
• Maintain understanding of restoration industry tools, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Determine equipment and materials usage for jobs.
• Assist in completing jobs with high quality while adhering to codes.
• Lift and pack contents, haul materials, and stock jobs as directed.
• Assist Lead Technician in maintaining vehicles and restocking supplies.
• Complete time reporting paperwork and submit timecards.
• Attend safety briefings and training; use PPE as required.
• Possibly wear respirators in certain activities.
• Report unsafe conditions or injuries to supervisors promptly.
