1-800 WATER DAMAGE of McKinney and Frisco is seeking a motivated General Tech to join our growing restoration crew. This hands-on role helps homeowners and businesses recover from water, fire, mold, sewer and other damage.

Qualifications

• No prior restoration experience required — on-the-job training provided.
• Strong work ethic with a positive, team-first attitude.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-friendly demeanor.
• IICRC certification a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with water damage mitigation, drying, and extraction on residential and commercial job sites.
• Assist with setting up, monitoring, and breaking down drying equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, moisture meters and other tools.
• Perform demolition tasks such as removing damaged drywall, flooring, and insulation.
• Load, unload, and maintain restoration equipment and company vehicles.
• Follow safety protocols and SOPs on every job site.
• Assist lead technicians with mold remediation and fire/smoke cleanup as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment on all job sites.
