Job summary

1-800 WATER DAMAGE of McKinney and Frisco is seeking a motivated General Tech to join our restoration crew! This is a hands-on role where you'll help homeowners and businesses recover from water, fire, mold, sewer and other property damage.

If you're ready to roll up your sleeves and make a real difference, we want to hear from you! You'll assist with drying, extraction, and equipment setup on residential and commercial sites, while following safety SOPs.

Qualifications

• No prior restoration experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Strong work ethic and a positive, team-first attitude.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Assist with water damage mitigation, drying, and extraction on residential and commercial job sites.
• Assist with setting up, monitoring, and break down of drying equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, moisture meters and other tools.
• Perform demolition tasks such as removing damaged drywall, flooring, insulation; may include tile, framing, cabinets, stairs, etc.
• Load, unload, and maintain restoration equipment and company vehicles (solo or assisting other team members).
• Follow safety protocols and SOPs on every job site.
• Assist lead technicians with mold remediation and fire/smoke cleanup as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment on all job sites.

About the Role:

1-800 WATER DAMAGE of McKinney and Frisco is looking for a motivated General Tech team member to join our growing restoration crew! This is a hands-on role where you'll play a vital part in helping homeowners and businesses recover from water, fire, mold, sewer and other property damage. If you're ready to roll up your sleeves and make a real difference in people's lives, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Assist with water damage mitigation, drying, and extraction on residential and commercial job sites
• Assist with Setting up, monitor, and break down drying equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, moisture meters and other various items/tools
