Job summary

Workstream is hiring a Restoration Technician / General Laborer to support SERVPRO of Stamford in Norwalk, CT. The role involves field work on fire and water damage restoration, loading equipment, and assisting with cleanup and prep for projects.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, adhere to safety guidelines, and coordinate with supervisors and other technicians. A High school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required; IICRC certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED; required.
• Valid driver’s license; required.
• Experience in cleaning/restoration; preferred.
• IICRC certifications; preferred.
• Ability to lift 50–100 pounds and work in tight spaces; required.
• Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment and supplies.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and equipment appearance.
• Perform production processes, demolition and other labor tasks.
• Perform fire and water damage restoration tasks and extractions.
• Prepare rooms/areas for work activities and setup equipment.
• Follow safety guidelines and communicate with supervisors.
