Job summary

SERVPRO of Vacaville / Dixon is recruiting for restoration technician roles in Rocklin, CA. You will handle emergency responses for water and fire damage, perform extraction and setup of equipment, and participate in cleanup and restoration projects on-site with a focus on helping communities in need.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, willingness to work on-call including evenings and weekends, and preferred restoration/construction experience. IICRC certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in restoration or construction preferred.
• Previous handyman experience strongly preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• IICRC certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency situations, including water damage, fire damage.
• Evaluate and perform restoration activities including but not limited to, water extraction, fire damages, set-up of specialty equipment, and demolition.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment, and all necessary supplies for each project.
• Effectively communicate safety hazards, job site findings, equipment, and tool requirements for the worksite with supervisors.
• Maintain open and clear communication with clients, addressing their concerns and explaining the restoration process.
• Perform restoration and cleanup tasks, including water extraction, drying and site cleanup

Key Responsibilities

Position Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to work occasional on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous experience in restoration, construction, or a related field is preferred.
• IICRC certification is a plus.

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
• Ability to work with/around cleaning agents.

Compensation: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
